Our brief was to design residential interiors, integrating inspiration from the surrounding architecture and interior environment. I have chosen to design a one bedroom apartment and studio for a Batik artist who values their cultural heritage, located in Spitalfields, London. 

The design was inspired by the area’s materials and textures, combined with existing concrete and Indonesian Batik.
