Project 01 / Jil Sander
In this unit, our brief was to design a retail store, emphasising research and analysis to develop project ideas. I chose Jil Sander and drew inspiration from the patterns and colors of the 2019 Jil Sander Resort Collection. This collection led me to the transition of the Tottori Desert in Japan as my concept, exploring the shift from warm desert conditions to cold, snowy environments.
Therefore, the project is a transition space from warm dessert to ice cold where visitors can experience the transformation of the desert storm through the clothing displays and the central staircase.
